This episode of the podcast is about 4 progress focused roles. The 4PR-model is a situational model, which describes these four roles:
- The type of interaction in which the desired progress of your conversation partner prevails, and your conversation partner develops his own ideas regarding how he wants to make progress, is called ‘helping’.
- The type of interaction in which the desired progress of your conversation partner prevails and the ideas regarding how he can make this progress comes from an external source, is called ‘training’.
- The type of interaction in which your conversation partner must achieve certain progress which is determined by you, the organisation or society and he can develop his own ideas regarding how he wants to make progress, is called ‘directing’.
- 4. The type of interaction in which your conversation partner must achieve certain progress which is determined by you, the organisation or society and the ideas regarding how he must make this progress comes from an external source, is called ‘instructing’.
